Think inside the computer and commit to code with the Content Library. Sign up for a subscription* and commit to spending 30 minutes x day, 3 days x week on learning the fundamentals of computer programming and electrical engineering. As students make their way through the lessons in the modules, they complete activities in Tinkercad with an Arduino, or with a Raspberry Pi using either Scratch, a blocks-based programming language, or Python, a script-based programming language. The lessons are designed to be self-paced, can be done on any web browser, and are recommended for students ages 8—15. While the lessons can be worked through independently, we highly recommend learning alongside your student as the skills presented are valuable and necessary for all, and your student will come to see the importance of learning to code. We wish you much success and joy on your journey to teach your student the necessary skill of computer programming. Learning to code is much like learning to read and requires time, patience, and dedication. Should you have any questions or need assistance, we are ready to help email us at [email protected] Additionally, you are invited to join the private Facebook group to post your questions, share successes, and find camaraderie in learning to code.
